Large-diameter metallic sealing wedge valves 56” and 64” in diameter, which were installed on the National Water Pipeline, were manufactured by Dinicola Co., Italy.
During restoration of the National Pipeline, it was fitted with large diameter metallic valves with hard sealant of up to 64” in diameter. These valves are used for complete sealing during maintenance work and, therefore, their quality is of utmost importance.
The valves supplied for the project were made by Dinicola, Italy, installed at the Metzer Station and Eshkol Reservoir (Somech Reservoir) line. They are 64” and 56” in diameter, respectively, bi-directional without permitted leakage. The valves weigh 8-10 tons and are 7-9 meters high.
